Bid Big for Brewer at the Spring Auction!

The Spring Auction is one of our school’s largest fundraisers of the year and we are aiming to raise $20,000 towards our overall fundraising goal for the school. Your contributions sustain the programs that make our school thrive and directly support music, art, athletics, restorative justice, tutoring, field trips, and so much more. We’re filling our Spring Auction catalog for its launch in April and would love your help in whatever capacity you have!

Here’s how you can help:

1) Parties-For-A-Purpose: these special events are exclusive experiences--big and small--hosted by school families, teachers or community members. Parties may include: 

  • Dinner Parties: Dinners hosted in the homes of school families or at local venues (beer, pizza and darts party)

  • Beer / Wine Tasting Nights: A fun and intimate wine tasting evening hosted by a local winery, brewery or private collector

  • Sports Outing / Tournaments: A tailgate party, group outing to a local sporting event, or a friendly tournament for a specific sport (pickleball?) 

  • Weekend Getaways: A hosted weekend trip in a rental home or guest house

  • Outdoor Adventure Days: Hiking, biking, or boating days hosted by outdoor enthusiasts within the community

  • Arts & Culture: Art, cooking, crafting workshops or booktalk hosted by school community members

If you would like to host a Party-For-A-Purpose, please fill out this hosted party form or reach out to Sandra Tsui at auction@ednabrewer.net with your idea. You can host a party any time between March to August, and we strongly encourage you to have a date finalized before it can be promoted (the sooner the better!).

2) Online auction: we’ll be auctioning goods, services, and gift cards from local businesses and community members. Donations may include: 

  • Restaurant and café gift certificates

  • Spa treatments

  • Fitness classes or day passes

  • Local art and handmade goods (quilts, paintings, pottery, jewelry, crafts)

  • Hotel and vacation packages

  • Professional services (e.g., photography, legal consultations, etc.)
